We charge by the cubic yard. We understand that can be confusing. 1 cubic yard is the same as two washing machines back to back. All prices are a guide only and will be subject to visual and physical inspection. Below prices are not inclusive of VAT.

Rubbish Removal Cost FAQs

- Minimum attendance charge £40.00 / 5-10 minutes loading time allowed.
- 4 cubic yards (1/2 a standard builders skip or ½ a short wheelbase Transit equivalent) £130.00 plus VAT / 15 minutes loading time allowed.
Due to government regulations we are forced to pay extra to dispose fridges, freezers, television and computer monitors. Unfortunately we must pass these charges on.

Choosing private rubbish removal companies means you will be charged on the amount of waste, the type of waste and the weight of the waste (the amount of space it takes up in the van). Prices start from £39 and go up to £400, depending on the company you choose and the type of clearance service you need.
When using the local council for waste disposal, you have to choose certain days and there’s a base payment then an additional payment for each item. On top of that, there’s lots of rules you have to follow. This kind of service used to be more affordable a couple of years ago, but can be quite pricey if you have a lot of bins or items to remove, so you might be surprised to find out a rubbish removal company is cheaper.
