Bin/rubbish collection
Of course, there is the council rubbish collection for garden waste, general rubbish and recycling, which is collected and removed weekly.

Council rubbish collection
If you have larger items, such as old sofas, mattresses, soft furnishings, etc., that you would like collected, you can ask your local council to collect them for a small levy.
For example, the London Borough of Merton Council offers a collection of up to three large items for £37 and four to six items for £60.75. Find out more.
