Our Recycling Approach

We prioritise closed-loop recycling for bottles and jars, diverting the vast majority of materials from landfill (typically 90% or more, subject to condition and local facilities). Keeping glass clean and separate helps us recycle more, faster.

How Pricing Works (Simple & Transparent)

WHAT WE TAKE:
  • Yes: glass bottles and jars (empty, rinsed if possible), lids/caps removed and placed separately.
Sometimes (by arrangement): plate/window glass, mirrors and shopfitting glass—please advise in advance (handling and processing differ from bottles/jars).
No: ceramics, Pyrex, crockery, light bulbs/fluorescents, heavily contaminated containers, liquids.

If you’ve got a mixed load (glass + general waste), ask about our general rubbish clearance instead.

  • Collection is a paid service—you’re paying for labour, loading, transport, sorting and compliance, even when we recycle the glass
  • Quotes reflect volume/weight, access/parking, container type and frequency
  • A minimum charge and included loading time apply; extra labour, difficult access (e.g., many stairs), waiting time or contamination may incur additional charges
